Police are looking for a 41-year-old Clovis man who disappeared after leaving work Aug. 9.

Doyle “Eddy” Windham was last seen leaving work at an Allsup’s convenience store on East First Street as he went to make the store’s deposit, according to a police report.

His family has not seen or heard from him since, his wife, Robin Windham, said Friday.

Clovis Police Chief Steve Sanders said the case is classified as a missing persons/theft case.

Sanders wouldn’t reveal how much money was in the deposit bag Windham was carrying when he disappeared.

“We’re most concerned about his safety and welfare, but we’re also concerned about the missing money,” Sanders said.

Eddy Windham was driving a 1992 red Ford Ranger pickup truck with South Carolina license plates.

Robin Windham said she is not aware of any health problems her husband may have had and he took no personal items from their home the day he disappeared.
