Curry County will host the 2013 New Mexico Association of Counties annual conference.
The county was selected Friday, according to Curry County Manager Lance Pyle.
The conference will be held June 19-21, 2013, and about 700 attendees from the state’s 33 counties are expected to attend.
“We are excited about this opportunity to showcase our community to the 32 other counties in New Mexico,” Pyle said. “This will be a great way to garner economic development in our county, as well as to highlight our local businesses and resources.”
Curry County last hosted the NMAC conference in 1994.
