Starvin’ Marvin, co-creator of the Bullying Hurts Program will be in Clovis Friday and Saturday for the J.K. Bull Riding event at the Special Events Center.

The Bullying Hurts Program is an initiative introduced in Clovis by Sheriff Matt Murray and has been implemented at numerous local schools.

Designed around a concept of older students mentoring younger ones, the program teaches about the effects of bullying and gives children tools to deal with it.

The program has recently introduced a home version for parents.
