Nobody was hurt in a fire Monday night at a Clovis apartment complex.

Crews were still investigating the cause of the fire late Monday night at one of four duplex buildings at 928 Cameo St., Battalion Chief Montie Powell said.

The 911 call came in around 8:20 p.m. Residents of the neighboring apartments were asked to leave their dwellings for precautionary reasons. They were allowed to return shortly after 9 p.m.

The fire did not spread beyond the original duplex and was contained around 9:15 p.m., Powell said.
