Four Curry County officials have been selected to serve on steering committees for the National Association of Counties, according to a release from the organization.
Commnissioner Wendell Bostwick was appointed to the agriculture and rural affairs steering committees. Commissioner Caleb Chandler was appointed to the justic and public safety steering committee. Commissioner Dan Stoddard was appointed to the community and economic development community. County Manager Lance Pyle was appointed to the labor and employment steering committee.
The steering committees help set NACo policies relating to each respective field.
