Clovis police are seeking a man accused of trying to solicit pre-teen girls.

Recently there have been three reports of a man approaching girls in various locations in the community, according to a press release.

None of the children have been harmed.

In a report to police Monday, a 12-year-old girl reported being followed along 14th Street as she walked home from James Bickley Elementary School.

She said a man in a vehicle offered her $20 if she would get in his vehicle and allow him to perform sex acts on her. The girl said she told the suspect no and walked the opposite direction, according to the report.

Police said the suspect appears to be targeting preteen girls ages 10-12.

The suspect is described as a male between 18 and 30 years old, wearing glasses with a clean shaven face.

Two of the girls told police he was driving a red, four-door Pontiac car with tinted windows and a spoiler on the trunk lid, the release said.

If anyone sees the described activity occurring they are encouraged to call 911.
