Gov. Susanna Martinez has nominated a Clovis woman to serve on the state’s Construction Industries Commission.

Lisa Fickling is one of eight nominated from around the state, according to a press release from the governor’s office.

The commission is responsible for developing regulations for the state’s construction industry.

Fickling serves as controller at Conway Oil Company, overseeing state and federal regulation and insurance compliance, along with fuel tax reporting and employee safety training, the release said.
