SANTA FE — Gov. Susana Martinez has announced several appointments to the state’s Public Safety Advisory Commission and two other commissions.
Martinez appointed four Clovis residents to the Military Base Commission. They are Lee Malloy, Tom Phelps, Richard Render and Michael Connolly, a former commander of Cannon Air Force Base.
Those appointed to the public safety panel include former Deputy Police Chief Chris Padilla of Albuquerque, Sandra Russell of Las Cruces, Albuquerque lawyer Christopher Saucedo, Edward Larranaga of Albuquerque and David Wallace and Ken Blair of Taos.
The governor also appointed Joyce Bustos of Santa Fe to the state Judicial Standards Commission. Bustos is an independent criminal justice consultant. She also served as director of the Administrative Office of the District Attorneys
