Beginning June 30, Curry County will hold three public hearings to discuss possibilities for use of Community Development Block Grant planning funds.
The CDBG program’s purpose is to assist communities in providing essential facilities, decent housing, promoting economic development and maintaining a suitable living environment, according to a press release.
Communities are eligible to apply for up to $50,000.
The public is encouraged to attend and submit project ideas, provide supporting data, testimony and other pertinent information, the release said.
