Another bar in Clovis — Webb’s Watering Hole — is closing.
Thursday, employee Didi Sandoval confirmed the owner sold the facility’s liquor license and plans to close in September.
It is the second bar to announce closure in 30 days, after Clovis City Limits closed June 14.
The two were the only businesses in Clovis dedicated solely to serving alcohol, though other establishments do offer a mix of dining and alcohol services.
State Regulation and Licensing Department spokesman S.U. Mahesh said information regarding the sale of the license was not immediately available.
The bar’s owner could not be reached for comment.
