Lonestar is best known for its song “Amazed,” which in 1999 spent eight weeks on the country and Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Lonestar is known for their strong country roots as well as the multi-genre crossover that has led the band to a history of success on the pop and rock charts as well. They have sold more than 6.5 million albums and posted nine No. 1 country music singles, including “I’m Already There” and “My Front Porch Looking In” since their launch in 1995.

Lonestar has been lauded for their continuous outreach in the area of humanitarian goodwill. They have been recognized by The Academy of Country Music along with Home Depot Humanitarian Award back in 2003.

Lonestar’s focus for their concerts have been the military forces and fundraising for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

The band consists of three original members, keyboard player Dean Sam, guitarist Michael Britt and drummer Keech Rainwater, and lead singer Cody Collins, who joined the band in 2007.
