A National Guard recruiter from Lubbock was arrested Tuesday and charged with child solicitation by electronic device, according to a press release from the Curry County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the release, when 44-year-old Jeffrey Jackson arrived at a decoy house in Clovis with a box of condoms for the purpose of having sex with whom he thought was a 15-year-old girl, deputies took him into custody.

Jackson contacted a social networking website profile of a 15-year-old girl operated by the sheriff’s office, engaged in sexually graphic conversations, and sent nude pictures of himself, the release said.

Jackson was being held Wednesday night at the Curry County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
