Mother, daughter honored for book
A Clovis mother-daughter team was recently honored with the national Benjamin Franklin Award for children’s books. Liz and Stephanie Eisenbraun’s book design project, “Baking with Friends,” was cited for originality in interior design by the Independent Book Publisher’s Association.
Liz Eisenbraun has worked with numerous local clients, including Taco Box and the Women’s Medical Center, and often partners with 13-year-old Stephanie for inspiration and ideas.
The cookbook the pair designed was written by Sharon Davis and Charlene Patton of the Home Baking Association, with watercolor illustrations by Coleen McIntyre. The book also includes an audio CD voiced by Clovis radio personality Pam Atherton.
