Thursday morning briefing: The last day, end of a break and bridging the gap

Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Thursday briefing.

Last day

5 p.m. today is the deadline to reserve individual tickets and tables for the 2012 Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet.

The banquet is Jan. 13 at the Clovis Civic Center.

Tickets are $40 each or $400 for a table of 10 and can be purchased at the chamber, 105 E. Grand Ave.

ENMU back in session

Winter break is fast coming to an end.

Eastern New Mexico University in Portales opens Jan. 16 and classes begin Jan. 17.

Students not yet enrolled can contact Enrollment Services at 575-562- 2178. Those who have not registered for classes can visit the ENMU website to register online (www.enmu.edu).

The last day to register for classes is Jan. 17.
