Hollani Davis is an award-winning TV journalist at WDBJ in Roanoke, Va.
She is the granddaughter of longtime Clovis residents Louise McPherson and the late Claude McPherson. Her parents are Michael and Diane Davis of Las Cruces.
As the 11 p.m. weeknight anchor she is responsible for finding everyday stories that inform and educate the people of Southwest Virginia.
Before moving to Roanoke in 2006, the anchor/reporter spent three years working for the ABC affiliate in Abilene, Texas.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority a non-profit public service organization. She also participates with the National Association of Black Journalists.
