Press release: Judge Hartley retiring in June

District Court Judge Teddy L. Hartley is retiring as of June 30,according to press release from dean of the University of New Mexico Law soliciting applications for Hartley's spot.

Hartley has served as a 9th Judicial Judge since 2003, when he was appointed by Gov. Bill Richardson to succeed Bill Bonem, who retired at the end of 2002.

Hartley began his practice in Clovis in 1970 after stints as the 1st assistant district attorney in Lubbock County, Texas, and as the executive assistant to the Texas Attorney General.
