County commissioners unanimously approved an Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan Tuesday. The ICIP is a document submitted to the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, outlining a municipality’s top five projects of $15,000 or more that will require a combination of local, state and/or federal dollars. Curry County’s approved priorities are as follows:
- Detention center housing units.
- Curry County roads.
- Improvements and repairs to the HVAC at Curry County courthouse.
- Improvements, renovations, and remodeling the county offices at 417 Gidding.
- Improvements and additions to parking lots and amenities, including horse stalls, at the Curry County Events Center.
