Eastern New Mexico University’s singers and symphonic band will offer their annual gift to the community this weekend.

The school’s holiday concert will feature the school’s Chamber Singers, University Singers and Children’s Choir, as well as the symphonic band.

Jason Paulk, director of choral activities, said concert goers can expect lots of holiday repertoire and classical music from the singers, and carol arrangements by Robert Shaw.

The ENMU Children’s Choir will perform a piece called “Peace on Earth and Lots of Little Crickets,” Paulk said.

The band will play “Cowboy Christmas,” “O Holy Night” and “Sleigh Ride.” The show will close with a sing-along that invites the crowd to sing carols with the players.

The university’s holiday concert has been held for more than 20 years and is free to the public.
