Habit for Humanity needs volunteers but you need to notify them by 2 p.m. Friday.
The group needs about a dozen people Saturday for two work sites in Portales.
Work begins is 8 a.m. until mid-afternoon with a break for lunch (provided) at 11:30 a.m.

Fanny Bliss, who came to Clovis in 1940 as a kindergarten teacher, organized the city’s first public library in 1940 at Eighth and Mitchell.
Its original name was Carver Public Library, but has since been changed to Clovis-Carver
Public Library and is now at Seventh and Main.
