Two governing bodies in Roosevelt County are meeting Tuesday:
• Roosevelt County Commission, 9 a.m., Roosevelt County Courthouse. The agenda includes a report on the proposal to list the dunes sagebrush lizard as endangered and the designation of county precincts.
• Portales City Council, 7 p.m., Portales City Hall. The agenda includes a report on the traffic study on a one-way section of North Avenue I.
Fireworks
The Clovis / Curry Chamber of Commerce is accepting donations for the annual Smoke on the Water July 4 fireworks display.
