Rubel and Judith Encinias of Clovis will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on today.

The couple was married Aug. 30, 1969, in Clovis.

They have three children and five grandchildren.

He works for Excel Energy as a meter reader.

She works for ENMR/Plateau as facilities coordinator.
