ALAMOGORDO — Junior Quran Wiggins ran for three touchdowns in his varsity debut to lead Clovis to a 27-14 win over Alamogordo on Friday in the season opener for both teams.

Wiggins scored on runs of 37, 1 and 7 yards.

Alamo took a 7-6 lead on a 55-yard halfback pass from Dwaundle Baker to Taylor Weary four minutes into the second quarter.

Clovis regained the lead on a 1-yard run by Brewer-Hill. Junior Travis Davis' 32-yard run set up the score.
