Encanto Garden Club

Encanto Garden Club’s August meeting consisted of hosting the Curry County Flower Show with member Barbara Voges as Superintendent.

Members accepted and entered all horticulture entries into the fair booth, then placed the entries in the new coolers.

Tuesday morning, Judges Curt James and Mark Mitchell arrived to find many entries frozen in the coolers.

They graciously judged these entries as they would have been and all went well.

Encanto congratulates all horticulture ribbon winners and vows this will not happen next year.

Our next meeting is Sept. 8 hosted by member Ruth Burns.
