The Curry County Road Department will continue chip sealing operations in the Shumate Addition to complete a $200,000 project funded by New Mexico Legislative Appropriations, according to a news release.
Sealing takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
The county also starts chip sealing from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday on Curry Road 10 from New Mexico 108 to Curry Road E and Curry Road E from US 60/70/84 to Curry Road 10.
Roads will be closed during operations and residents will need to find alternate routes through the area on Tuesday, according to the release.
