U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman on Tuesday will take part in a Finance Committee roundtable discussion on health care reform.  The discussion will focus on system reform, including integration of care, quality improvements and workforce reforms.  Participants include health care policy and industry experts.

On Wednesday, Bingaman will hold an Energy hearing on a bill to amend the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 to establish a Federal energy efficiency resource standard for retail electricity and natural gas distributors. 

On Thursday, Bingaman will hold an Energy Committee hearing to consider pending nominations, including that of Hilary Tompkins of New Mexico to be Solicitor of the Department of the Interior.
