Cloe-Lucas

Rick and Lena Cloe of Tahoka, Texas, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Krista Cloe of Lubbock, to Chris Lucas, of Lubbock, son of Riene Wyatt of Clovis and Daryl Lucas of Macksville, Kan.

The couple will exchange vows  April 11, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Tahoka First Baptist Church in Tahoka, Kan.

A reception will follow at 7 p.m. at the Buddy Holly Party House.

The bride-elect is 2006 graduate of Tahoka High School and is currently attending Wayland Baptist University.

She is employed at Clinique Cosmetics at Dillard’s.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Clovis High School.

He is a corporal in the U. S. Marine Corps and is employed as an optician at Vision Mart.

Thrower-Marshall

Troy and Linda Thrower of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Lin Thrower of Glendale, Ariz., to Roshaun Marshall, of Glendale, Ariz., son of Gwendolyn Marshall of Glendale, Ariz.

The couple will exchange vows Mar. 6, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the home of Tramane Marshall, 109 N. 107th Dr. Avondale, Ariz.

A reception will follow.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Clovis High School.She is employed at Glendale Elementary School District.

The prospective groom is a 2003 Peoria High School. He is employed at Washington Elementary School District.

The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
