District Judge Teddy Hartley on Friday denied a request to change the terms of a recent plea agreement, District Attorney Matt Chandler said.
Cody Banister, 28, of Roosevelt County, in January agreed to a 15-year prison sentence following allegations he manufactured methamphetamine.
On Friday, Bannister asked to spend the last two years of his sentence at Teen Challenge Christian drug rehabilitation program. Chandler said Hartley decided the original sentence was fair and declined the request.
The hearing lasted 10 or 15 minutes, he said.
