Two Clovis women each won $50,000 recently playing $5 scratch-off games, according to the New Mexico Lottery.

Ginette F. Patton claimed a $50,000 prize with the Giant Crossword game and Mary Lujan won $50,000 playing Diamond Dazzler.

Patton said she plans to pay off her vehicle loan, the lottery said.

Lujan said she may buy a new vehicle if there’s anything left from treating her daughter, Emily Lujan, to a shoe-shopping spree, according to a lottery spokesperson.

Patton purchased her game at an Allsup’s in Texico and Lujan bought hers at Lowe’s in Clovis.
