South Division
Nolan Richardson, Midwestern State, Sr. G, Tulsa, Okla. — Richardson had four 3-pointers and 24 points in the Mustangs’ 85-75 win
over West Texas A&M on Monday, then scored 26 in a 94-90 overtime
victory at Eastern New Mexico on Saturday to give him six consecutive
games of at least 20 points. He shot 15-of-31 from the field for the
week, incoludng 8-of-17 from 3-point range.
ENMU nominee
Dannon Wafer, Jr. G, Galveston, Texas — Wafer averaged 12 points,
five rebounds, 2 1/2 assists and three steals in games at Tarleton
State and against Midwestern State.
North Division
Lance Harper, Central Oklahoma, Sr. F, Edmond, Okla. — Harper led
the Bronchos to a pair of division routs last week, averaging 16
points, 10 rebounds and 2 1/2 assists in 22 1/2 minutes per game. He
had double-doubles in both games.
Women
South Division
Camille Perkins, Angelo State, So. G, Groesbeck, Texas — Perkins
scored a game-high 20 points in a 64-59 overtime win over Abilene
Christian, the Rambelles’ third win in a row over a regionally ranked
opponent.
ENMU nominee
Lace Clark, Fr. G, Keene, Texas — Clark averaged 10 1/2 points and 4 1/2 rebounds for the week, connecting on five 3-point shots.
North Division
Destiny Brown, Southeastern Oklahoma, Jr. F, Stillwater, Okla. — Brown averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds in leading the Savage Storm to
wins over Northeastern State and No. 13 Central Oklahoma, highlighted
by a career-high 32 points and 13 rebounds against NSU.
