Clovis ~ So far, $530,857 has been donated or pledged to United Way by individuals, business owners, and corporations. That's 85% of the $627,000 community-wide goal and approximately $52,000 less than was raised in last year's campaign.
The standings for each county are as follows:
Curry County Goal-$537,000
Raised to Date-$453,333
Roosevelt County Goal-$90,000
Raised to Date-$79,523
January 30th is the deadline for giving this year, because the process to make grants to local agencies is about to begin. Donations to United Way help families in Roosevelt and Curry counties in these priority areas: Education, Income and Health.
United Way is still gathering pledges and donations from loyal donors and new givers alike. Every gift, large or small is very important.
If you would like to make a contribution please call 769-2103.
Giving to United Way is an investment in human service agencies that meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community all year long. Donations and pledges to United Way provide a safety net for families and individuals year round, as well as support efforts to tackle the root causes of problems facing our families and our communities.
