South Division

Nolan Richardson, Midwestern State, Sr. G, Tulsa, Okla. — Richardson’s 4-point play in the final minute of regulation sent Midwestern State into overtime at Texas A&M-Kingsville, and he made several critical plays in the extra session to lead a 68-65 win that extended the Mustangs’ winning streak to 10. He had 21 points, five rebounds and two assists against the Javelinas, and had 23 points, five rebounds and three assists in a 95-82 win over Angelo State earlier in the week.

ENMU nominee

Jimmie Marshall, Jr. G, Milwaukee — Had 10 points an five assists in the Greyhounds’ 68-58 loss at Abilene Christian on Tuesday, connecting on 5-of-9 field goal attempts. He also had three steals.

North Division

Dave Smith, Cameron, Sr. G, Plainview, Texas — Smith had 30 points in each of the Aggies’ wins last week, over Southeastern Oklahoma and East Central. He hit 8-of-15 from 3-point range against the Savage Storm, one make short of the school record.

Women

South Division

Andrea Buben, Midwestern State, Jr. G, Duncan, Okla. — Buben sparked a 79-77 overtime win over Angelo State on Wednesday, tying the game at the end or regulation with her seventh 3-pointer. She finished with a career-high 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting, then followed that up with five 3-pointers and 19 points in a 63-57 loss on Saturday at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

ENMU nominee

Cat Clay, So. F, Deming — Hit 6-of-11 3-pointers en route to 21 points and also grabbed six rebounds in the Zias’ loss at Abilene Christian.

North Division

Lizzie Brenner, Central Oklahoma, Sr. F, Woodward, Okla. — Brenner led the Bronchos to division wins over Texas A&M-Commerce and Southwestern Oklahoma, averaging 15 points and 11 rebounds while compiling 11 assists, three steals and three blocks.
