Clovis Community College is offering a new digital storytelling class in the Spring 2009 semester, which begins Monday.

Debbie Purvines, Title IV faculty development specialist, will teach the class.

The class will work with digital images, text, audio narration, video and music. Purvines said the class is for people who have photos lying around the house and want to do something with them.

The class will be held Mondays from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Jan Lloyd, division chair of fine art and communications at CCC, said everyone has a story to tell and this class will help people do that.

Lloyd said the class will be taught as though the students have never used a computer before.
