Jerry and Dixie Jacobs of Melrose will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 29 at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Melrose.

The celebration will be hosted by their four children.

The couple was married June 29, 1958, in Newport, Ark.

The have eight grandchildren.

He is a retired Santa Fe railroader.

She is a retired homemaker.

The celebration is open to friends and relatives.

Richard and Vivian Lake of Clovis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to  4 p.m. Saturday at High Plains Baptist Church, 2800 East 21st.

The couple was married June 27, 1958, at Kingswood Methodist Church, Clovis.

They have two children and two grandchildren.

He is a retired civil service telecommunications management specialist from Cannon Air Force Base.

She is a retired Clovis school teacher.

The celebration is open to friends and relatives.
