Clovis Public Works director Harry Wang is taking a job with the city of North Las Vegas, Nev., according to a news release.

His last day with Clovis is July 3.

The city of Clovis will begin accepting applications for the public works director position today, the release said.

The last day to apply is July 31, according to the release.

Street Superintendent Clint Bunch will serve as the interim public works director, according to the release.

Wang has served as the public works director for Clovis since 2001. He has been a city employee for 15 years.

His new job in North Las Vegas is deputy director of operations.
