Local young ladies were crowned the 2008-2009 Pioneer Days Rodeo Royalty last Saturday at the Mounted Patrol Arena. Competitors were judged on horsemanship, appearance, and personality, which includes speech and photogenic qualities. The winners reign over the county fair, do radio promotions for the rodeo, are introduced each night of the rodeo, and they will ride horseback in the parade.
