In case you missed it: A fire last month destroyed a historic café located along Route 66 in Stroud, Okla.

The owner, Dawn Welch, is the inspiration for the Sally character in Pixar's "Cars" movie.

The Mother Road Rally comes to Tucumcari on June 14 and the Quay County Sun has produced a special section dedicated to Route 66 in conjunction with the event.

The section will be inserted into the newspaper on June 11. It includes a crossword puzzle and two seek-and-find puzzles honoring the famed highway.
