In other business at Thursday’s meeting:
• Commissioners approved two subdivision preliminary designs.
The first design was for the Stonebrook subdivision, which will contain 68 lots on 25 acres northwest of Clovis. The second design was for the Clovis Inn subdivision located in south Clovis.
• Commissioners adopted two ordinances accepting funding for the Ute Water Project. As the fiscal agent for the Eastern New Mexico Rural Water Authority, the city will pledge revenues from sewer bills to accept the grants, which have loan components.
The city will accept more than $3.5 million on behalf of the authority.
• Commissioners approved a liquor license for the American Legion Post 117 located on 2800 West Grand Avenue.
