Somebody invited us to the grand opening of "We R Trash," a mythical retailer offering "trash and information on trash."

The flyer reported "trashy people have rights too" and a trashy yard could be "an alternative to a home security device."

The writer seemed to be saying some people need to clean up their yards.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the Campus Union Building at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales.

It's a public meeting and a perfect opportunity for folks who regularly travel the Dora Highway to log in with the state on what they think of their highway.
