The Clovis Carver Library is offering a week of amnesty for overdue items beginning today and ending Saturday, according to a press release.

The amnesty period is part of the library’s recognition of National Library Week.

Fines will be waived for overdue items returned during the week, the release said.

Also, anyone signing up for a new library card during the week will receive a free plastic book bag and other prizes, the release said.
