Ampey Clarence and Ruth Ampey of Clovis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 3-6 p.m. Dec. 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The celebration will be hosted by their children. The couple was married Dec. 17, 1957, in Chicago. They have seven children, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is retired from the United States Air Force. She is a housewife. The celebration is open to friends and relatives.
