The lighting of the Christmas tree and holiday lights located at the Curry County Courthouse will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The Clovis High School Chamber Choir will be performing Christmas Carols and cookies and hot chocolate will be served. “The holidays are such a special time of year and what makes this year extra special is the celebration of our centennial,” said Raymond Mondragon, chair of the 100th Anniversary Committee. “During our 100th Anniversary year we just wanted to make the lighting of the tree an extra special occasion for the citizens of Clovis and Curry County.”
