Nov. 11 Police Blotter

Samplings of recent reports filed by Clovis-area law enforcement officers:
Around 5 a.m. Nov. 3 an officer responded to the area of 1000 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for a fight in progress.
A woman told the officers she had gotten into a fight with a friend in the street.
The officer noted she was intoxicated. The woman said they fought for a while and she was able to walk away and go to her mother’s house.
The woman could not give any information on the suspect other than her first name.

About 9 p.m. Nov. 3 an officer responded to a home in the 600 block of Christopher Street for a criminal damage report. A woman said she heard a car pass her house and heard several “bang” noises on the front and side of her house. She said a few minutes later she heard the car again and saw someone get out of a vehicle and throw eggs at her house.

About 8 a.m. Nov. 4 an officer responded to a home in the 1500 block of Fairway Terrace for a criminal damage report.
A man said he woke to find his vehicle had been damaged when someone threw pumpkins and eggs at it.

About 10 a.m. Nov. 5 an officer responded to a school in the 1400 block of Cameo Street for a battery.
A school official told the officer a girl had jumped another girl in the locker room.
The administrator said one of the girls had gone to a coach and said the other girl was calling her names. The coach told her to avoid the other girl until the coach could talk to her.
The coach then heard yelling and found the girl on the ground in the locker room with the other girl on top of her, hitting her.

Around 10 p.m. Nov. 5 an officer took a fraud report at the police department.
A man gave the officer a $20 bill and told him it was counterfeit. He said he found it on the ground and thought it looked strange so he had a friend test it with a counterfeit marker and it showed as fake.
The officer took the bill into evidence.
