A Clovis man was sentenced Monday to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting three foster children while they were in his care, according to a press release from the District Attorney’s office. Richard Glascoe, 43, was convicted of three counts of criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13 and three counts of criminal sexual contact of a child under 13, the release said. An investigation was started in December when a 7-year-old girl who had been in Glascoe’s care told her parents he forced her to have sex at his home and in a van he drove, court records show. Two other 7-year-old girls in Glascoe’s care between 2003 and 2006 were also similarly assaulted, the release said. Glascoe will be required to serve a minimum of 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole, the release said.
