Midwestern tops Hounds

WICHITA, FALLS, Texas —Midwestern State scored three goals in the final 30 minutes and the Mustangs clinched a tie for the Southwest Soccer Conference title Friday with a 4-0 victory over Eastern New Mexico University.
The Mustangs (17-2, 7-0 SSC) host second-place West Texas A&M on Sunday in the final league match of the season. The Buffaloes can pull into a tie for the title with a victory.
Senior goalkeeper Leif Craddock made 10 saves for the Greyhounds (8-9-1, 2-5-1), who finished third in the SSC. He gave up only Daniel Brown’s goal in the 29th minute until late.
