Inaugural Frisbee Golf Tournament — 8:30 a.m. to noon, Ned Houk Park. Sponsored by Clovis Noonday Kiwanis, $10 fee includes green fees and burgers. Limited to the first 45 players. Information: 769-1911.

Teens, tweens and big kids Hippie Day — 10 a.m., south lawn of Clovis-Carver Library. Bring a T-shirt, pillowcase, socks, etc. to learn the art of tie-dye.
Local Emergency Planning Committee Exercise Design and Planning committee meeting — 10 a.m., emergency management conference room, 320 Connelly.
Wednesday
July Fourth Celebration and Picnic — 2 p.m., Veterans of Foreign War Post 3015, 2800 W. 7th St. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and games. Free admission and open to the public.
Clovis Community Choir — 8 p.m., Greene Acres shore. Concert of patriotic music.
Smokin’ Fourth of July Bash — 3-8 p.m., ENMU Greyhound Arena. Free admission. Fireworks after dark.
Smoke on the Water fireworks show — 4 p.m., Greene Acres Park. Music, boat races, food vendors, and fireworks after dark.
Thursday
Local Emergency Planning Committee Community Awareness meeting — noon, emergency management conference room, 321 Connelly.
