A workshop on the Open Meetings Act and Inspection of Public Records Act will be held July 11 in Clovis, according to a news release from the Attorney General of New Mexico’s office. The workshop is 9 a.m. to noon at the Clovis-Carver Public Library, North Annex. Attorneys from the Attorney General’s Civil Division, in conjunction with the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government, are hosting the event. It is designed to help local governments, members of government boards and commissions, and the public understand open government laws.
