Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
Around 3:30 p.m. May 27 an officer responded to a crash involving a bicyclist at Seventh and Hull streets.
The bicyclist told the officer he entered the intersection on his way to the store and a car struck him.
The driver of the car said she had stopped to make sure the way was clear and turned right, striking the bicycle.
She said she never saw him.
The man, who was uninjured, was issued a citation for riding on the wrong side of the road.

About 9:30 p.m. May 27 an officer responded to a home in the 1100 block of Fairway Terrace for a report of phone harassment.
A woman told him she had been receiving phone calls from a man who knew her name and kept calling her “sexy” and telling her he wants to have sex with her.
She said she did not know who it was or how he got her number.

Around 6 a.m. Tuesday an officer patrolling Main Street saw a man with his hands in his “genital region” leaning against the corner of a church in the 2600 block.
The officer stopped and the man admitted he had urinated on the church. He also said he was praying.
The officer noted neighbors in the area had complained about the man urinating on the church before.
The officer issued him a citation for disorderly conduct.
