Gallegos, Montgomery Joshua Gallegos and Scott Montgomery, both of Clovis, have been named Collegiate All-American Scholars by the United States Achievement Academy. Gallegos, son of Patrick Gallegos and Susie Duran of Clovis, is a student at Eastern New Mexico University. Montgomery, son of Lii and Gretchen Montgomery of Clovis, attends Clovis Community College. Gallegos and Montgomery were nominated for the award by Clovis Community College Vice President Becky Rowley. According to a USAA news release, the award recognizes superior students who excel in the academic disciplines.
