Adams Patrick Adams of Clovis is a recipient of a $1,500 college scholarship awarded at Cannon Air Force Base. He is the son of Elaine and Keith Adams. He is attending the University of New Mexico. Patrick’s school and community activities include National Honor Society; French Club; Hope Center Volunteer; Keystone Club president, and soccer. Cannon is one of 268 commissaries operated worldwide by the Defense Commissary Agency. His scholarship was funded through Dial Corp. Greig, Johnson Elizabeth Anne Greig of Clovis and Jaymelynn Kay Johnson of Fort Sumner were among more than 1,650 students earning academic honors from Kansas State University for academic achievements during the spring 2006 semester. Students receiving academic honors for the semester rank in the top 10 percent of their class.
