Coy Brewer performed the wedding. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Cynthia Sparks of Portales. The bridegroom is the son of Don and Donna Ashby of Carrizozo. Maid of honor was Katey Anderson. Best man was Scott M. Ashby. Ring bearer was Dustin B. Sparks. The candle lighters were the mothers of the bride and groom. The couple will reside in Tulsa. The bride is employed as a veterinarian assistant. She graduated from Portales High School in 2004 and attended West Texas A&M University. A 2002 Melrose High School graduate, the groom is employed as a master welder. He earned an associate of occupational studies in welding technology degree, with majors in master welder and welding QA/QC inspector, from Tulsa Welding School. Dobbs-Woodcock Sue Dobbs and Gene Woodcock, both of Clovis, were joined in marriage on May 22, 2006, at Parkland Baptist Church. Pastor Doug Brooks performed the single-ring ceremony. Debbie England was the maid of honor. Wayne Boydstun was the best man. The couple will reside in Clovis. The bride and groom are retired.
